Throughout medical school, I struggled to find scrubs that were both luxurious and affordable; scrubs that truly represented me, especially as a hijabi Muslim woman. I often wore oversized styles, layering long-sleeved tops or detachable sleeves underneath, simply to feel comfortable and confident while working.
After finishing medical school, I began saving to create my own designs, and that’s when the idea of Modestly Scrubbed was born. It took time to find the confidence to bring this vision to life, but the purpose was always clear: to create scrubs that address the very struggles I faced, without compromising on modesty, comfort, or style.
Today, we thoughtfully design modest uniforms with intention and care, keeping the real needs of healthcare professionals at the heart of everything we do. Every detail is considered, so you can feel comfortable, confident, and truly represented throughout your shift.
Let us take care of you, so caring for others feels a little easier.
